The Bellman Maxi Classic is a personal amplifier that will bring out the words so you can hear them loud and clear, even when there is a lot going on in the background. Use Maxi for example when the family gathers around the dinner table, at the shops or to listen to the radio and TV. Maxi delivers clear and distinct speech and works with headphones or earphones and using a neck loop with hearing aids.
Maxi is intuitively easy to use and you are up and running within minutes. Everything is easily accessible with the simple press of a button and there are no complicated menus to learn. Just connect your earphones or neck loop and adjust the volume to your liking.
The RNID used to have an own brand version of the Maxi known as
the RNID Sonido. The Maxi is essentially the same powerful
listener, just with different branding, with a white casing
rather than silver and with an optional tie-clip microphone rather
than one being provided as standard.
Please note: In order to use the Maxi you need to choose your preferred listening method: if you are a hearing aid wearer you can use a neckloop or ear hooks, if not you can use headphones or earphones. These items are purchased separately (see Associated Items). (If you already have your own headphones with a standard 3.5mm plug, you can use these.)
Maxi is equipped with the latest digital technology and delivers clear and distinct sound of the same quality as the latest players. It efficiently amplifies speech while filtering out unwanted background noise.
Maxi is very robust and user friendly. It features large tactile
buttons, soft grip materials and high contrast indicators that make
it very easy to handle. Maxi is a great choice for those with
low vision or limited dexterity.
