Please note that we recommend the purchase of a loop listener for every installation site.
A lot of people don't realise that it is easy for non-hearing aid wearers to use and test an induction loop. All you need is one of our Loop Listeners and you can listen with headphones to the output of any induction loop.
If you are a shop, church, office or public building with an induction loop it is crucial that you test and listen to your induction loop regularly - otherwise the only way you'll know it isn't working is when somebody complains! To make it easy we always recommend that testing of induction loops becomes part of your fire alarm testing routine.
Connevans offer a number of alternative inductive loop listener/testers so we have a solution for all situations.
In our view the Connevans FSM2 gives the best and loudest sound quality. It is also the most technically advanced and will provide the most detailed results, with an easy-to-read traffic-light style display - ideal for an installer or large size installation such as a theatre.
The 40ILRKIT has good sound quality at a lower price and is a good choice as a simple-to-use listener. This is a good choice for routine testing by non-technical team members.
The Ampetronic ILR3 40ILR3 is a nice mid-range listener from a well-known designer and manufacturer of induction loops.
The Ampetronic FSM 40IFSAMP is a loop tester, suitable for use by installers, but is the most expensive of our range.
The Crescendo is a great option for lending to non-hearing aid wearers to listen to an induction loop.
