ConnectClip is many things in one. It turns compatible hearing aids into a high quality, wireless headset for hands-free calls and listening to music or podcasts in stereo. It works with any modern smartphone, music player or computer. It is a wireless, remote microphone and a remote control.
The ConnectClip is currently compatible with Oticon Opn,
Engage, More, Real, Xceed & Siya
hearing aids and the Ponto 4 & Ponto 5 bone
anchored sound processor. ConnectClip can be paired to
either one hearing aid (monaural fitting) or a set of two hearing
aids (binaural fitting).
Quality hands-free calls for any smartphone
ConnectClip turns your hearing aids into a hands-free mobile
headset. It connects to any modern smartphone via 2.4 GHz Bluetooth
Low Energy and streams rich sound to both ears, while capturing the
wearer’s voice in high resolution.
Bluetooth low energy – Better than classic
Bluetooth®
This cutting-edge streaming protocol places ConnectClip ahead
of the pack, allowing a much broader frequency bandwidth than
classic Bluetooth. Bluetooth low energy is also the technology that
enables ConnectClip to stream sound to both ears, and keeps battery
consumption low.
Please note: you can only connect to one Bluetooth device at a time with this - it will not seamlessly transition between 2 devices.
Wireless stereo headphones
Headphones are well integrated into our lives, but many
hearing aid users can’t simply plug in and play. However, with
ConnectClip, all smartphone and tablet users can wirelessly stream
music videos or podcasts to both ears – in high-quality, stereo
sound. Meanwhile, they can still hear the sounds all around
them.
Remote microphone sends speech to your ears
At a lecture or presentation, or anytime your need help to
hear someone’s voice more clearly, ConnectClip gives a helping
hand. You simply give the ConnectClip to the person you need to
hear and it wirelessly streams that person’s voice directly to your
hearing aids from up to 20 metres away. This is especially useful
in situations such as:
Educational lectures and classrooms
Speeches at weddings, birthdays and
anniversaries
Inside a car
In a bar or very noisy restaurant
Business presentations
Discreet hearing aid remote control
ConnectClip functions as a remote control for compatible
hearing aids, allowing the wearer to adjust their volume and change
the programme remotely.
Connecting with your home telephone
The Oticon ConnectLine Phone adaptor 2.0 can used
via this ConnectClip microphone - the ConnectLine Phone adaptor
will not work without the ConnectClip microphone.
Please note the ConnectClip is no longer supplied with a
protective skin or pouch.

Please note, connecting a shoe to your hearing aid/s for direct audio input will take priority over a wireless connection to the ConnectClip.

Oticon ConnectClip Bluetooth Link and Wireless Microphone ( 3O178509 )

My hearing aids were recently upgraded by the NHS to a pair of Oticon Engage BTEs. As a home-worker I'd previously used an Oticon Streamer Pro 1.3a with my old Oticon NHS hearing aids to conduct Teams and Zoom calls. I was disappointed to discover that my new aids were only MFI (Apple) compatible, so whilst they worked fine with my iPhone over Bluetooth, they would not connect directly to my Windows laptop. And my Streamer Pro was not compatible with them. After a brief conversation with the audiologist, he suggested purchasing this ConnectClip from Connevans. Whilst the device is a bit on the pricey side it does work really well. The sound quality is comparable to my old Streamer Pro, with the advantage that the unit is fairly discrete. I like the clip, and the wireless range is much better - if the Streamer Pro was more than an elbows length away from the hearing aids it would cut out. With this I can walk into the next room and still hold a conversation. Pairing it with the hearing aids and my laptop was fairly straightforward. Being able to use it as a remote microphone is the icing on the cake. I've not tried this yet, but am hoping it will make one-to-one conversations in noisy environments a lot easier for me. Overall very happy with this, and the sales / customer support from Connevans. Footnote: If you have an Apple laptop with a later "M" chipset CPU, you may not need this as they support MFI.

This is the best accessory I bought for my Xceed hearing aids. The audio sound is so clear and crisp for mobile phone calls and listening to streaming music on my mobile phone. There are volume and mode buttons which are very handy and useful features. The only thing I wish for is an external 3.5mm stereo port connector so that I can plug into a 3.5mm male to 3.5mm male audio lead on the tour bus, like the one on the Hop-on Hop-off bus that gives guided audio on the tour bus.

The device itself works very well. Hence 5 stars, but... Sadly the clip is next to useless. It won't close securely on anything but a fine shirt or blouse. Despite the directions saying not to cover it with clothing, I can't see any other way of keeping the clip closed securely. The lanyard clasps are even worse, the tiniest tug and they fly apart. I've tried combining the clip and the lanyard, but I still managed to send it flying when taking off my coat. I can, of course, buy a more secure clasp, and I probably could treat it more gingerly, but in the meantime, I've tied the cord in a knot and attached the clip to my bra.

The unit is quite small and convenient to use. I use it with NHS Sinergy Engage aids and the performance is incredible. It connects to my laptop via USB dongle and the sound is excellent. Real stereo! It is also connected to the mobile phone again with incredible sound. Having the ability to mute the aids microphone make it a very pleasant experience to listen to music directly streamed from my devices.
