The TV Adaptor 3.0 provides a wireless connection straight from your TV to your Oticon Opn, Engage, More, Siya, Xceed, and Intent hearing aids and the Ponto 4 & 5 processors - great for use at home, giving you high quality TV sound directly into your hearing instruments (no Streamer Pro required). This dedicated solution for TV listening is easy to install and creates a high-end, natural sounding TV experience.
The TV sound arrives directly to the user’s hearing instruments via high quality wireless technology. The user can choose to hear the TV only through their hearing instruments or join in the conversation by keeping the microphones active.
The TV Adaptor 3.0 is only compatible with Oticon Opn, Engage, More, Siya, Xceed, and Intent hearing instruments and the Ponto 4 & 5 processors - it is not compatible with Oticon Streamers. If you have a Streamer you require the TV Adaptor 2.0.
No Streamer Pro is required for use with the TV Adaptor 3.0.
Features
Ease of use
The TV adapter 3.0 is easy to install and never needs charging. Daily use is both user friendly and secure. Once you've paired your compatible hearing aids to the TV Adaptor, it will be available as a program on your aids - to listen to the TV simply change to the TV Adaptor program. You can even adjust the volume using the volume control on your hearing aids. Indications on the TV adapter give clear status whether transmission is active or in stand-by.
Fashionable design
Its slim, elegant design and inconspicuous appearance makes the
TV adapter 3.0 suitable to be placed either on the TV furniture or
behind the TV set.
Simple Pairing
No need for pushing buttons or
special power up routines, the first time you use your TV Adaptor,
just place your hearing instruments on top of the TV adapter and
they will pair themselves within 60 seconds. Easy!
Multi-user
An unlimited number of users with
compatible hearing aids can listen to the sound from one TV
Adapter, simply pair each hearing aid to the TV
Adaptor.
Dolby Digital and digital stereo
ConnectLine TV 3.0 supports digital sound in two widely used formats: digital stereo (PCM) and Dolby Digital allowing users to benefit from streamed sound from home theatre systems and flat panel TVs.
How many Oticon TV Adaptor 3.0 devices can I pair with my
hearing aids?
It depends on the particular Oticon hearing aids you are
using. All Oticon Bluetooth hearing aids can be paired with up to
four TV Adapters, except Oticon Opn and Oticon Siya which can only
be paired with a single TV Adaptor.
I have more than one Oticon TV Adaptor. How can I switch
between them?
If your hearing aids support connection to multiple TV
Adaptors then you’ll be able to choose which TV to stream sound
from at the touch of a button in Oticon ON, which you can download
on your smartphone. If your hearing aids do not support multiple TV
Adaptors, you will need to pair your hearing aids again every time
you want to start streaming from a new device.

The sound level of the microphones (i.e. acoustic input from surroundings) can be muted by the user or can be attenuated relatively to the TV sound - please talk to your audiologist for more information about this.

This is an excellent piece of equipment. It works extremely well and gives crystal clear sound. It is easy to setup and use. It can be used independently of the tv volume, which can be turned down or even off. I no longer have to keep asking my wife to repeat what was said on the TV.

I would like to give this aid 5 stars, it connects so quickly and conveys sound to my aids really well, however there is one problem, if my husband mutes the TV to talk to me, I have to get up and switch the adaptor off so I can hear what he says, then to get back to the programme I have to switch it back on. I can use my phone to do this and if I leave the room that's ok but as soon as I return to the room it automatically reconnects and I will have to turn it off at the adaptor. I suppose I expect too much. Hearing loss is frustrating for anyone so to lessen that would be so wonderful.

Just received the unit and the digital sound quality is truly amazing.(Sept 2021) I no longer have to turn up the TV and everyone in the house can listen to the TV at a normal sound level. I control the sound level using the App produced by Oticon on my Android. It was just working out the connection scenario and purchasing the 2 x TOSLink Fibre Optic cables. Connection Connected it via 2 x Fibre Optic TOSlink cables. One from the Sky QBox TOSLink connector to the input connecter on the Oticon.unit. There is also an output connector which the second cable is then connected to the Sound box TOSLInk connector. Note Make sure you change the Sound / Speaker settings on the TV setup to Audio OUT from TV Speaker. It has certainly changed my life and and the difference is amazing Certainly recommend an investment in one of these units .

Game changer, was umming and ahhing about this but it does what it does really well, so cool to be able to hear sound from the TV directly without annoying everyone with the volume. Oh and separately, had confirmation from HMRC that VAT doesn't apply if you have a hearing condition but you're not registered disabled.
